Alliance Française of New Haven offers French classes for adults at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and encourages all its members to go back to school to refresh their knowledge of French. If successful, it will provide a solid knowledge of standard French for use in business and travel.
All classes will be taught by our Swiss and French born professors, Yvonne Kolodny and Jacqueline Munk.
All our language classes offer an immersion experience in the French language, adapted to the level of the course - be it through dialogues, video viewing, discussions, and more. Students are encouraged to express themselves in French. Grammatical instruction will be a tool, not a goal. See the class registration tab for information about future classes and the syllabus for each class. Complete online registration or print out the attached PDF form and mail with payment to AFNH, PO Box 207333, New Haven, CT 06520. Online payment is available.
